We We have teamed up with Ocean 2012 for European Fish week 4th- 12th of June . To mark the event we are holding an Open Day at Strand Road, Bray, County Wicklow. We are also teaming up with the National Sea Life Centre Bray. They will he hosting the “Back to the Future Photography Exhibition” and it is also a great place for a family day out.
We will be launch kayaks from the front of the Sea life center for any body interested in seeing and trying out fully kitted Angling Kayaks. We will have everything you need to have a paddle on the sea and try different kayaks. Check in to our forum for updates prior to travelling. In the event of bad weather we have alternative locations to try the kayaks.
Our message for Fish Week is one of sustainability and conservation. Kayak fishing is similar to small boat fishing of the past and is affordable and open to all. Kayak anglers can feed their families on fish with minimal impact on fish stocks and the environment compared to the family that buy their fish in the supermarket. The theme of fish week is Back to the Future. Lets claim back the waters around our coast and encourage the recovery of our fish stocks. Fish are there for everybody.
